Crescent NV and Remoticom BV enter into strategic cooperation.
Leuven, March 9, 2021 – 18h30 CET – CRESCENT NV (Euronext Brussels: OPTI) The strategic collaboration of Crescent and Remoticom forms the basis for a strong international expansion to meet the increasing demand for integrated solutions for Smart Lighting, Smart City, Smart Building and Smart Industry solutions.
This creates an integrated product portfolio of sensors that can be combined with a variety of communication solutions for both cellular and non-cellular networks. In addition, the parties see important efficiency advantages and profitability improvements in this collaboration.
Remoticom is a pioneer in the field of Internet of Things and sensor technology, and specifically develops smart sensors that contribute to a safer, more sustainable, and more comfortable living environment. Remoticom makes companies future-proof by using innovative IoT solutions.
A first concrete contribution of this collaboration for Crescent is the inclusion of Remoticom as a supplier in the Smartville consortium. As a reminder, Crescent’s role in this consortium is to provide the smart infrastructure part of sensors, gateways, LED lighting and charging stations. This for both the supply of the equipment, the installation, and the after-sales service.
