Leuven, Belgium – 9 December – 7:30 AM CET, Crescent NV, Geldenaaksebaan 329, 3001 Heverlee (Euronext Brussels: OPTI)

Remoticom is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic master agreement with Vodafone. This collaboration marks an important step in the further expansion of our technology capabilities and underlines our commitment to innovation and high-quality services.

The partnership, which runs for 10 years, includes the provision of Global Managed IoT services, including advanced connectivity via NB-IoT and LTE-M. In addition, Vodafone’s IoT Device Management platform is part of the agreement. This platform enables Remoticom to remotely monitor, manage, secure and update devices, allowing our customers to benefit from unparalleled efficiency and ease of use.

This collaboration marks an important step in our further positioning within the Smart City and Smart Building markets. Vodafone’s connectivity services allow us to deliver our innovative sensors fully equipped with advanced connectivity while also offering customers device management per sensor. This enables us to provide not only intelligent hardware, but also comprehensive management options that support customers in getting the most out of their systems.

The IoT Device Management service enables Remoticom to offer its customers advanced management options, including:

– Easy management of connectivity and SIM cards via an intuitive portal or via APIs.
– Real-time monitoring and optimisation (including installation of firmware enhancements) of connected devices.
– Advanced security options to protect sensitive data and systems.

Joost van der Velden, CEO of Remoticom, said: “This agreement with Vodafone enables us to offer our customers access to the most advanced IoT services. The Device Management platform will play a key role in strengthening our services and increasing the value we deliver to our customers. Together with Vodafone, we will continue developing solutions that contribute to the continued growth of smart cities and buildings worldwide.”

We look forward to continuing to work with Vodafone on solutions that shape the future.

John van Vianen, CCO Vodafone, stated, “At Vodafone Business, we are committed to supporting companies like Remoticom in realising their vision of smart and connected solutions. Our IoT platform, considered market-leading by Gartner for 10 years, not only allows them to better serve their customers, but also to operate more efficiently and securely. This partnership underlines our joint ambition to use technology to improve urban areas and modern living and working environments. We look forward to a long-term and successful collaboration.”
